MISSION STATEMENT: The P. F. McMahon Scholarship Fund For The Arts is committed to providing financial assistance for the study of art for Oregon residents with limited financial resources.

Paul F. McMahon

Paul F. McMahon was born in Northern New York and graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University where he was named Outstanding Alumnus.

 

Paul was a retired senior partner, served on the Worldwide Board of Directors and the International Executive Committee of an International Accounting firm, and COO of the sixth largest International Executive Search firm.

 

Paul and his wife, Sheila, traveled extensively and spent several months each summer on their trawler S.K.I. (Spending The Kids Inheritance) exploring the Puget Sound and Inside Passage providing Paul numerous venus to pursue his passions for photography and writing.  Paul's articles have been published at www.travelpostmonthly.com.

 

Paul completed the Portland Actors Conservatory Level III  in July 2008 in his role as Ashley in "Sugar Daddies, his PATA audition in January 2009 and was to have played the role of the prosecutor in "The Trial of Minour Yasui" on February 18, 2009.

 

Paul was working on "Saboteur", a tragic comedy about a woman, recently divorced and her exploits to hang onto her home until she re-established her own identity.

 

Paul served on the Arlington Club Board of Directors and co-authored the "Arlington Club: Where Leaders Meet," a club historical update.

 

Paul served as Chair of the Portland Actors Conservatory, Treasurer of Chamber Music NW and on the boards of HumaniNet, the Oregon Council of the Humanities and assisted several other Portland organizations.
